Programs for Homeschoolers at the Orange County Library!

The Orange County Library System has recently begun offering a
Home School Study Hall to support home school families and give them an opportunity to meet. The Home School program will take place on the first Wednesday of each month beginning at 10 a.m. at the Orlando Public Library. The study hall will focus on a different library resource or topic each month. Check our online calendar to see what is coming up next and to register. For an overview of the resources the Orange County Library System offers to support a home school education, browse our Home school e-guide.

In addition to our regularly offered story and craft programs, each month, the Library also offers numerous science programs for preschool and elementary age children. These programs are part of our Science Smart series sponsored by Siemens and our efforts to give families informal and hands-on opportunities to share science experiences.

Upcoming Science Programs include:

·         Gatorland Wrangler

·         Snake Education with a Twist
