Dramatic Education, Inc. offers Homeschool Drama Program
Dramatic Education is offering a homeschool Drama program. In
these classes, students will learn an original Dramatic Education musical
from start to finish, featuring songs from hit Broadway musicals, while
seamlessly integrating the theatre basics curriculum. Through theatre
games and exercises, they will master techniques that will enhance their
understanding of "show" and help them grow as performers in their
craft. At the end of the course, they will present their work through a dramatic preview.
Location: Unity Martial Arts Center, East Orlando
Ages: Pre-K through 8th grade
Cost per 4 class session: $55
Time: 9:30-11:30
Days of Week: Tues (PreK-2nd), Wed (2nd-5th), Fri (4th-8th grades)

Orlando Science School Hosts Math Tournament
The mathematics department and Mu Alpha Theta Honor Society of Orlando Science Schools invite students to compete at the Orange County Math Tournament (OCMT) to be held on Saturday, Febrary 13th. There will be three levels of competition: 4th, 5th, and 6th grade.
All schools are encouraged to participate, regardless of whether they currently have math teams or not. In Competition Math, any topics can arise. There are no guidelines or hints about how to solve the problems, so there is an opportunity to express and develop individual creativity and problem solving skills. In order to prepare, students may look at sample questions.
Registration must be completed online no later than Thursday, February 5th. The Registration fee is $10 for each student. Registration fees must be postmarked by February 5th.
